Barium Study and HSG are specialized X-ray–based diagnostic procedures used to examine internal organs with the help of contrast dye for clearer, more detailed imaging.

A Barium Study focuses on the esophagus, stomach, and intestines, using barium contrast to highlight the digestive tract. It helps diagnose ulcers, reflux, tumors, blockages, and swallowing or motility disorders.

HSG (Hysterosalpingography) evaluates the uterus and fallopian tubes by gently introducing a contrast dye into the uterus. It is primarily used in fertility assessments to check for blocked tubes, uterine abnormalities, fibroids, or polyps.

Together, these tests provide accurate, non-invasive visualization of important organ systems, guiding effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
